Payroll Elite have partnered with a global professional services company, who are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join an extremely reputable business, where you will learn, progress and work within an excellent team.\nThis is a Hybrid role with 1 day working in the office.\nDuties:\n * Maintain a portfolio of client payrolls processing around 1000 employees payslips.\n * An understanding of current PAYE and NIC legislation that affects payroll.\n * Ensure all starters, leavers, benefits and allowances information is entered on to the Payroll database and update the relevant spreadsheet to record all entries made\n * Calculate leavers pay when leaving mid-month\n * Calculation of statutory payments\n * Process P45 forms\n * Print and sort payslips for distribution\n * Run payroll reports\n * Ensure monthly salary payment for client payrolls are transferred to the correct accounts in a timely manner\n * Upload FPS and EPS reports to HMRC as required\n * Good understanding of the payroll software and its functionality\n * Respond to client queries regarding payroll in a professional and timely manner\n * Deal with HMRC correspondence enquiries\n * Maintain an up to date client status schedule?\n * Deal with general administrative duties, as requested\n * Assist the Supervisors with BACS uploading.\n * Review / Quality Check Associates’ payrolls to ensure accuracy.\n * Resolve any issues with clients / deal with complaints / escalations\n * Periodically review payrolls to ensure effective processing\nSkills:\n * Experience in processing high volume payslips\n Dealt with statutory payments, RTI submissions and PAYE.\n * A strong work ethic and willingness to assist other members of the team when required.\n * Able to multi-task and to prioritise payroll workload\n * Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills\n * Have a knowledge of changes to legislation which effect payroll\n * Confident and competent in dealing with clients\n * Have a working knowledge of MS Office\n * Good time keeping/punctuality\nExcellent Benefits include:\nHoliday - 25 days leave - our holiday year runs from 1st July so this would be pro-rated in year one.
