Overview

Responsibilities
* Definition of Systems Requirements for the product.
* Creation of design documentation capturing the systems engineering design, definition of internal and external interfaces of the system.
* Functional definition of system behaviour.
* Development of test procedures to support the verification of the system.
* Carrying out integration and verification testing against test procedures and conducting activities to gather evidence that the systems requirements have been achieved.
* Peer reviewing technical artefacts.
* Supporting the wider engineering team by sharing knowledge.
Required Qualifications
* Experience as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
* Defining systems interfaces, boundaries and other external factors that would impact on design.
* Requirements engineering (elicitation, decomposition and analysis).
* Analysing the operational concepts of a system.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience in the decomposition of a systems design to sub‑system level.
* Experience or knowledge of systems modelling techniques.
* Experience of analysing potential solutions against the key needs in a design brief.
* Experience of using design analysis techniques (trade‑off analysis, calculations, modelling and simulation, etc.).
Security Clearance
This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not, a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.
