This newly established service is designed to provide high-quality,person-centred care for individuals with ADHD across all age groups. We arebuilding a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to early intervention,accurate diagnosis, and holistic support.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting individuals with ADHD. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessment, diagnosis, intervention planning, and ongoing support for clients across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and provide evidence-based interventions
* Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to develop tailored support plans
Deliver training and consultation to staff and stakeholders
Stay current with best practices and emerging research in ADHD care

You will play a key role in supporting adults with ADHD through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary depending on clinical level, but may include:
Assessment & Diagnosis
Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments using validated tools and structured interviews.
Contribute to diagnostic formulation in collaboration with senior clinicians or independently (depending on level).
Gather collateral information from family members, employers, and other professionals as appropriate.
Treatment & Intervention
Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to adult ADHD, including psychoeducation, behavioural strategies, coaching, and support with executive functioning.
Support medication management under supervision or independently (depending on prescribing rights and clinical level).
Monitor treatment outcomes and contribute to care plan reviews.
Care Coordination & Support
Act as a care coordinator for adults with ADHD, ensuring continuity of care across services.
Provide support and guidance to individuals, families, and carers.
Facilitate access to community resources, employment support, and peer networks.
Professional Development & Service Contribution
Participate in regular clinical supervision and reflective practice.
Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support junior colleagues or students (for senior-level practitioners).
Engage in ongoing professional development relevant to adult ADHD.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Professional qualification in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g., GMC, RMN, Clinical Psychologist).
* Registration with appropriate professional body (e.g., GMC, NMC, HCPC).
* Experience working with adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly ADHD.
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Training in ADHD-specific assessment tools (e.g., DIVA-5, ASRS, QBTest)
* Prescribing qualification (for nurse prescribers or non-medical prescribers)
