We havea fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join amarketleading Payroll firm based inUckfield.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and highlysuccessful payroll team. You will work with a varied clientportfolio across a complete mix of industries ranging from smalldirectoronly payrolls through to multimillion poundgroups.
Responsibilities:
Liaising with clients and entering payroll data from start tofinishaccurately
Reconciling payroll to client data getting client approval asappropriate and issuing payroll reports &payslips
Preparing payrolljournals
Reconciling weekly and monthly PAYEfigures
Preparing BACSfiles
Administering Pension Autoenrolment including making appropriatedeclarations to The PensionsRegulator.
Producing and distributing pension scheme returns includingnotification of changes in members status and uploading to thepensionprovider
Dealing effectively with queries from clients and HMRC
Requirements
Excellent numeracy skills.
Thorough knowledge of payrollrelated legislation such as PAYENational Insurance family leave & payetc.
Ability to manuallycalculate payroll results and explain calculations/breakdown toclients.
Good understanding ofpension schemes and rules.
Evidence of being a proactive handson team player who is confidentin working to change priorities in a busydepartment.
A natural organiserwith a keen eye for detail andaccuracy.
Working knowledge of acomputerised payrollsoftware.
