Robert Half are working on behalf of a well established business based in Solihull, who are looking for a detail oriented and proactive IT Acquisition & Asset Assistant, on a temporary basis, to support the management and maintenance of the organisation's IT equipment and systems inventory. The role is responsible for tracking stock levels, updating asset records, processing IT requests and ensuring the integrity of asset data.
Key responsibilities:
1. Monitor and manage IT hardware stock levels, ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained and reordering when necessary
2. Maintain up to date records of all IT and electrical devices across the business
3. Liaise with the Finance Team to report newly required IT assets and maintain the central asset register
4. Support the IT team by processing IT tickets, including asset-related queries and allocation requests
5. Assist in auditing physical assets
Previous experience in an IT support, administration or asset management role is desirable. This is a temporary role for around 4 months minimum, with hybrid working available.
