The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school. The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
