Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Office Administrator for our client based in Lanarkshire.

Role Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and dynamic electrical services business. With the company expanding and current team members managing increased workloads, this newly created role will provide vital support and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Ideal for someone with strong administration background, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both customers and engineers in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming customer enquiries via phone and email, delivering excellent service and timely support.
Accurately process customer orders and update records with detailed information.
Keep customers updated on the progress of works and respond to queries or concerns efficiently.
Maintain and update spreadsheets, prepare correspondence using Microsoft Word, and ensure accurate record keeping.
Coordinate with engineers to assist in resolving customer issues and facilitate smooth communication.
Provide general administrative assistance to the Office Manager and wider team as needed.

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within facilities management, building services, mechanical, or electrical sectors.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and confident, with a team-focused attitude and willingness to support others.

Offering:
Full-time position: Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm.
32 days holiday including bank holidays, with a 2-week shutdown at Christmas.
