Job Description
What will you be doing?
Join our high-impact engineering team in Derby as an Electrical Design Engineer, where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for cutting-edge projects in the Nuclear sector. Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Managing Electrical load schedules and designing modular HV and LV distribution systems.
2. Designing earthing and lightning protection systems.
3. Developing Electrical Power System Models.
4. Completing the design of the Electrical Systems Architecture, sub-system design, and equipment specification and design.
Who are we looking for?
* Electrical Engineers to play a crucial role in our mission that is familiar across the Electrical System Lifecycle. This is a design role (not suitable for commissioning, maintenance, etc. background).
* Engineers familiar with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in electronic & electrical engineering or related fields.
* Proven experience in electrical design within the energy sector.
* Proficient in relevant design and simulation tools (e.g., ETAP, Navisworks).
* Knowledge of grid codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
