In this role, the successful Principal/Senior Structural Engineer or similar will be responsible for the management and delivery of all aspects of transport statements and assessments on a wide variety of projects. In addition, you will also be responsible for carrying out complex junction analysis, providing technical advice/engineering recommendations where needed. On top of this, you will be responsible for preparing detailed designs as well as accurate reports/documentation for any projects worked. Finally, you will be a representative for the company in regard to meetings, external engagements etc…
The ideal Principal/Senior Transport Engineer or similar will have a background within the Civils/Highways Engineering sector, or a related field. In addition, you will have previous working experience in both technical drawing/designs as well as traffic modelling and transport analysis. On top of this, you will ideally be chartered and/or working toward it. Penultimately, you will have a strong knowledge of national and local transport policy and requirements. Finally, you will have a full, valid UK driver's license as well as access to your own vehicle.

Managing the Transport Engineering design on a variety of projects
Carrying out complex junction analysis
