gap technical are proud to be representing this market leading manufacturing business in their search for a Multiskilled Engineer to work at their facility based near Northwich
What you will contribute
* To ensure delivery of the Engineering support to the Northwich site across 24/7 enabling the Engineering team to provide the required levels of service in support of the manufacturing strategy.
* To ensure the safe, effective and efficient running of the department is maintained through the engineering shift teams.
* To ensure daily workloads are prioritised and delivered in compliance to site policies and procedures.
* Co-ordinate and prioritise the activities of a shift engineering team in providing support to the operations team.
* Operate as senior engineering point of contact for Shift Managers.
* Support Short Interval Control, and daily endo of shift review meetings with Shift Managers.
* Participate in Improvement Groups e.g. wastage reduction.
* Complete a clear and comprehensive handover to incoming shift engineering team.
What you will bring
* A fully qualified Multiskilled Engineer with at least 5 years experience
* Apprenticeship trained
* Minimum BTEC ONC/ Level 3 Qualified
* Must be electrically qualified with certification
* Experienced in leading a team
* An excellent communicator with the ability to coach and support others
* FMCG experienced, preferably food industry
* Comfortable working both in a team and alone
