Mandarin speaking Accounting Supervisor - What You'll be Doing:
* Plan, organise, and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearly tasks of the team
* Supervise and support daily operations of the accounting team (e.g., AP, AR, GL)
* Review and approve day-to-day accounting transactions and activities
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings
* Maintain and enforce strong internal controls in line with accounting standard, tax regulations and company policies
* Oversee the preparation of financial reports, statements, and audit schedules
* Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting team performance
* Identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices for improved workflow
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for improved working processes
* Monitor the department s performance against KPIs and objectives
* Prepare budgets and revenue forecasts
* Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures aligned with company goals
Mandarin speaking Accounting Supervisor - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
* Bachelor s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Progressive experience in accounting, including team leadership. Working experiences in accounting firms preferred.
* Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing practices and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred)
* Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas, data analysis)
* Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* ACCA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
* Effective communication and leadership skills
* High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
