Shire Healthcare are supporting a specialist provider based in Clayton Le Woods with the recruitment of a Deputy Manager to join one of their supported living services for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week (Shift based). To be considered, you must have experience working as a Senior or Deputy Manager within a similar setting and hold a Level 3 or 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Role snapshot:
* Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running and development of the service.
* Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
* Oversee the accuracy of care plans, guidelines, and risk assessments.
* Lead, supervise, and appraise a team of Support Workers.
* Take responsibility for the service in the Manager’s absence.
* Promote person-centred support and safeguarding at all times.
* Encourage service users to remain active, healthy, and independent.
