Audit Manager, Guildford with Hybrid working - to £75,000
Our client, a highly respected accountancy firm, is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audits for a diverse portfolio. Working closely with Directors and Partners, you’ll ensure exceptional client service while managing all aspects of audit delivery, compliance, and strategic financial support.
What you’ll do:
* Build strong relationships with business owners and directors
* Oversee audits, risk assessments, and financial statement preparation
* Manage one-off projects such as due diligence, investigations, and valuations
* Drive quality control and process improvements
* Lead and mentor junior team members
* Support business development and proposals
What you’ll bring:
* Strong technical skills in UK GAAP, FRS 102 & IFRS (US GAAP a plus)
* Solid audit and accounts preparation experience
* Commercial acumen with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
* Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
* Team-focused mindset with a “can-do” attitude
