Nursery Practitioners Needed – Jesmond
We are currently recruiting two qualified Nursery Practitioners to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Jesmond. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated early years professionals to become part of a welcoming team.
Location: Jesmond
Position: Nursery Practitioner (x2)
Hours:
* Typically 3 days 8:00am–6:00pm
* 1 day either 8:00am–5:30pm or 8:30am–6:00pm
About the Role:
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 years
* Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
* Work closely with colleagues to maintain consistent routines and high standards of care
* Age group to be discussed, depending on experience and practitioner preference
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Early Years (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
* A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Paediatric First Aid qualification, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
