Overview
An exciting and unique opportunity to operate our flagship Brewpub in Southbourne. The Brewpub features a large bar and dining area, extensive outdoor garden space, two function rooms, and a boutique, 14 bedroom hotel. Located in a prime position on Southbourne High Street, just a five-minute walk from a Blue Flag beach, the role includes live-in accommodation in a two-bedroom apartment. We are looking for an exceptional leader with experience in managing high-volume hospitality businesses.
Responsibilities
As a General Manager, you will: set the tone and culture within the Brewpub; coach and develop your team to deliver flawless execution and service within a fun and supportive environment; manage front of house and a robust kitchen operation; take on the unique element of the microbrewery at Brewhouse & Kitchen; ensure operational standards are of utmost importance to trade the Brewpub in a safe, legal and compliant way; have full ownership of the Brewpub P&L; lead shifts including opening and closing the Brewpub; act as the key contact for the community at your site; be a decision maker focused on growing the business and delivering operational standards the “B&K Way.”
Qualifications / Experience
Experience in managing high-volume hospitality businesses and a proven ability to lead teams, drive service excellence, and manage a P&L. Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills; comfort with both front-of-house operations and kitchen operations; ability to manage a microbrewery within a hospitality venue.
