Due to the expansion of our capital investment programme, we currently have an exciting and unique opportunity for a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Property Department Project team. The Project Team provides in house Design Management, Project Management and Maintenance Support to the Business across the Managed, Partnership and T&L pub estate. You would play an integral part in delivering this programme alongside whilst supporting the wider team in day-to-day design requirement.
This challenging role would be an excellent opportunity for an individual with a working knowledge of design to enhance their experience within an exciting and challenging industry. It can also act as a mechanism for further progression within the team for anyone wishing to pursue a career in Design or Project Management.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Creativity is paramount, and a strong passion for design is imperative.
* Has a working understanding and interest in the hospitality and pub industry.
* Previous experience/knowledge of planning applications and processes.
* Will thrive on working in a busy team environment.
* Outgoing and confident with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Able to work under pressure, to strict deadlines and with the minimum of direct supervision.
* Is proficient in utilising a variety of office-based IT systems.
* Is proficient in using CAD programmes, preferably AutoCAD and Photoshop.
* Keen attention to detail and good organisational skills.
* To be flexible and able to travel throughout our national pub estate.
* Possesses a good understanding of the practicalities of produced designs.
