In this role, you will be part of the highly skilled Asset Support Team. Your responsibilities will include identifying how operations and maintenance personnel interact with materials and equipment (process control charts/systems, good run settings, safe operating procedures, techniques, quality control plans). You will document the capability of the process to produce product (capability studies, process check-outs) and validate process information data post start-up. You need an understanding and ability to measure the robustness of machine hardware and software, including systems modeling, measuring capability of unit operations, and analysis of alternatives. Documenting theory of operations, process specifications, flow schematics, and P&ID’s for key areas.

Qualifications Needed
* A strong awareness of safety and ensuring all checks, tests, and improvements are carried out safely and to standard.
* Problem-solving skills to work with Asset & Manufacturing teams to fault find and maintain equipment operational targets using digital manufacturing tools.
* Ability to record test procedures and results, including statutory requirements.
* Data gathering skills on asset performance to troubleshoot and identify root causes of process issues.
* Championing centrelining adherence and control.
* A ‘hands-on’ approach to problem solving.
* A committed and flexible attitude.
* Recognized apprenticeship in a relevant field, ideally NVQ level 3 (Process/Mechanical).
* A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
* A degree in a technical discipline is desirable.
