You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What you'll do:Supervising a small team of painters and decorators across the university estateCarrying out painting, decorating and general building fabric repairsCompleting responsive maintenance and planned worksSupporting compliance and health & safety across all work activitiesWorking with subcontractors and specialist contractors when requiredEnsuring all work areas are left clean, safe and tidyCompleting job sheets and updating works via mobile devices/CAFM systemsAssisting with materials ordering and stock controlSupporting room inspections, student accommodation works and event preparationDelivering excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors What you bring:Strong painting and decorating experienceExperience in general building fabric maintenance (doors, plaster repairs, basic plumbing repairs etc.)Experience working in maintenance, caretaking or facilities environmentExperience supervising or leading a small teamGood organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and use initiativeGood communication and customer service skillsIT literate and able to use mobile devices or CAFM systemsHealth & Safety awareness and safe working practicesDesirable:IOSH Working SafelyLegionella Awareness (L8)Experience working in a university, residential or multi-site environmentGreat communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitudeWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
