We’re hiring on behalf of a well-established business looking for a Senior Assistant Accountant to support their finance team. Based in a brand-new head office in North London, this hybrid role offers the chance to work across a dynamic, fast-paced organisation, supporting key client accounts and month-end reporting.Key responsibilities:Prepare and submit monthly income returns for major clientsRaise sales invoices and allocate cash receipts accuratelyInvestigate invoice discrepancies and support income reconciliationsPost journals with correct nominal and VAT codesReconcile bank accounts weeklyAssist with monthly management accounts and financial reportingLiaise with Sales and Account Managers to analyse unbilled labour and expensesSupport wider finance team and Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasksEssential skills and experience:AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA5+ years in a finance role within a medium-sized businessStrong experience in accounts receivable and revenue recognitionSolid Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.)Comfortable working independently and within a teamDetail-oriented, organised, and deadline-drivenDesired:Experience preparing statutory and management accountsFamiliar with SAGE 50/200/IntacctExperience working with large data setsThis is a great opportunity to join a growing business where finance plays a central role.
