As a Sales Development Representative you will play a crucial role in the sales process, particularly in business-to-business (B2B) sales. Your primary responsibility is to generate qualified leads and move them through the initial stages of the sales funnel. In essence, an SDR's role is to bridge the gap between marketing and sales, ensuring that the sales team has a steady flow of qualified leads to work with. This helps increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process, ultimately driving revenue growth. This SDR role will work collaboratively with the USME New Business Team to generate new outbound opportunities across all clusters in the Private Sector. Duties and Responsibilities: Proven track record of success in generating leads in a SaaS environment. Knowledge of a SaaS sales cycle Experienced in working with Senior Sales Executives to drive pipeline Not afraid to offer up ideas Experience in outbound lead generation via multiple different channels (phone, video, email, Linkedin). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
