Housing Support Worker - West Yorkshire
Archer Resourcing has a great opportunity for a Housing Support Worker to join our dedicated team in West Yorkshire.
Role Overview:
As a Housing Support Worker, you will work as part of a team, managing a portfolio of properties and tenancies across a designated area. You will provide an intensive Housing Management Service to a core group of tenants, supporting them to manage their tenancies, assisting with benefit claims, and offering information on relevant local support services.
Maintaining high professional standards and service levels, you will treat everyone with dignity and respect. You will collaborate with internal partners in Quality, Policy, HR, Finance, and IT to deliver the best possible service to our users.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Conduct initial and regular assessments of service users, including risks, needs, and requirements, to determine eligibility and ensure necessary actions are taken.
2. Work with the Nacro Housing Management Team to issue correct tenancies, facilitate new tenancy sign-ups, and ensure tenants understand and accept their obligations.
3. Coordinate with the Asset Management team to maintain property standards, report repairs promptly, and ensure properties are safe and suitable for letting.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience in a relevant role
* Enhanced DBS check dated within the last 12 months. If you are on the update service, you may be fast-tracked through our recruitment process.
* Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check if you do not already have one
* Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
