Teaching Assistant – Grimsby
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £93 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Day-to-day
GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support schools across Grimsby. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed and thrive in the classroom.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and students, providing classroom support and helping to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
* Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
* Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, flexible, and supportive approach
* A genuine interest in education
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
