Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. GCSEs Mathematics and English Grade 9-4 (A*-C) OR equivalent i.e. Functional Skills Mathematics and English Level 2
2. Current registration as an Adult Nurse on the NMC professional register
3. Honours degree at lower second class or above in Adult Nursing Proven post registration experience
4. Minimum of six months post registration experience as an Adult Nurse
Desirable criteria
5. Candidates will usually have undertaken academic study at level 6 or above within the last 5 years
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
6. Up-to-date knowledge of professional midwifery issues
7. Able to prioritise care appropriately
8. Understanding of audit and evidence-based practice
9. Can demonstrate an understanding of inter-agency working i.e. Child Protection and Domestic Violence
10. Worked in a variety of settings utilising all life skills or transferable skills
