Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Software Application Support Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues, supporting critical integration layers for online trading systems, and driving continuous improvement across their platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Triage and resolve application support tickets, including escalations from second line.
2. Maintain software applications and monitoring systems, identify vulnerabilities, and support critical trading system integration.
3. Deliver root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
4. Maintain technical documentation and ensure smooth handover to 1st/2nd line teams.
5. Collaborate across teams and contribute beyond your core area when needed.
Essential Skills:
* Previous experience within a retail software support role.
* Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, MS Azure, AWS MQ, and SQL.
* Proficient in .NET, Python, Java, and scripting for automation.
* Solid background with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, MQ) and monitoring tools.
* Understanding of PCI-DSS and SOX compliance standards.
