Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Horsham from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
About the Role: You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative science department, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Contract Details:
* Location: Horsham, West Sussex
* Position: Science Teacher
* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent
* Pay Range: .62 per day (depending on experience)
* Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, plus occasional parents' evenings
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience in Science
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
* Two professional references
