This multi-accredited and high-profile contractor has a strong pipeline of work directly with Welsh Water as part of their AMP8/AMP9 programme and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Theirmitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and, as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Site Agent to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based in South Wales.
Your new role
As a Site Agent, you’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day site management on a range of exciting water schemes. You’ll lead the safe and efficient delivery of works, ensuringpliance with design specifications, legal standards and client expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing construction activities to deliver programmes safely, on time and within budget
2. Ensuring accurate implementation of engineering controls and adherence to contract drawings and specifications
3. Producing and briefing risk assessments and method statements to staff and operatives
4. Leading daily coordination with the senior foreman on resourcing, productivity and programme requirements
5. Solving technical challenges and improving site performance in quality, efficiency and safety
6. Coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams including civils and M&E interfaces
7. Promoting continuous improvement and ensuring all personnel receive appropriate training.

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
8. Proven experience as a Site Agent or Site Manager on water (clean and/or waste) schemes
9. CSCS, SMSTS and first aid accreditations
10. Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations, health and safety and quality management systems
11. Experience managing subcontractors, resources and site logistics
12. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct site teams
13. Sound problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
14. Full UK driving licence.
