7.5 TONNE DRIVER - AM SHIFT
MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES BETWEEN 04:00 - 05:00
PAY RATE: £13.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in the TAMWORTH area.

Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:
RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side)
Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Tail lift box
4/8 drops per day
Mixture of home delivery and retail electrical small shops
Essential Skills
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:
Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving C1 vehicles
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training
Driver's assessment must be completed
Following a successful assessment, there will be a one day paid induction
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
