About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. This role involves diagnostics, servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance across a variety of prestige and fleet vehicles. It's perfect for a technician who enjoys technical challenges, hands-on work, and contributing to a high-performing professional workshop.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, engine, and transmission faults
* Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance to manufacturer standards
* Operate manufacturer-level diagnostic systems (TOPIX & ODIS)
* Perform tyre work, air-conditioning servicing, and general mechanical repairs
* Communicate clearly with customers about faults and recommended work
* Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards
What We're Looking For
* Experienced Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills
* Proven ability to work independently and meet workshop targets

Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
* MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
* Full UK driving licence (6 points or fewer)
* Own tools preferred
