Opportunity
* Maintain existing designs, revision, managing new product integration, and steering site development projects to support growth.
* Owning the technical documentation and compliance process, ensuring all systems meet rigorous international standards.
* Providing hands‑on support with complex CAD projects, while also offering oversight and mentorship to a growing design team.
* Driving structural design and analysis, numerical modelling, and liaising with notified bodies and international technical committees.
* Managing the commissioning of manufacturing equipment and taking ownership of construction‑related engineering initiatives.
* Your work will directly contribute to the safe, compliant and timely delivery of innovative engineering solutions within a regulated manufacturing environment.
About You
* Proven structural or mechanical design experience within a safety‑critical, manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of product development processes and a disciplined, analytical approach to design evaluation.
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, lead suppliers and contractors, and represent the business externally.
* Ambition to grow into a more senior leadership role in the future, with the desire to build and lead a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience or confidence working with hydraulic, mechanical, electrical or software systems is advantageous.
* You’ll be naturally curious, confident in your decisions, and humble enough to seek input when needed. Above all, you’ll be energised by the opportunity to take a key leadership role within an emerging business.
Benefits and Package
* Salary Range: £45,000 to £55,000
