This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing and successful organisation. The role involves working with industrial machinery across a range of sectors.
You will be responsible for servicing, repairs, installations, commissioning, and providing comprehensive service support for packaging equipment across the UK.
Description of the role:
* Commissioning and installing new machines.
* Ensuring the equipment runs in the production environment.
* Problem solving and investigating root cause.
* Training customers with routine maintenance.
* Resolving issues relating to electrics, mechanics or software.
* Providing telephone diagnosis and support.
* Liaising between internal teams and customers.
About you:
* Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar technical service role.
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial machinery.
* Ability to diagnose issues methodically and problem solving.
* Confident in training customers on equipment operation and routine maintenance.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between customers and internal teams.
* Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
