We are seeking an experienced TAF Worker to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, and families within the community. Location: Barry, Vale of Glamorgan Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Contract: 4 months Rate: £16.00 per hour (umbrella) Key Responsibilities: * Provide a direct, high-quality service to children, young people, and their families/carers in line with Families First guidance and national standards. * Work collaboratively with families and professionals to deliver coordinated support and achieve positive outcomes. * Facilitate and chair multi-agency TAF meetings, ensuring support plans are effectively implemented and reviewed. * Undertake detailed assessments of need and risk to inform support planning. * Carry out direct work with children and families, using motivational approaches to promote engagement and positive change. * Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with Council policies. * Maintain accurate electronic and paper case records. * Participate in supervision, appraisal, and ongoing professional development. * Contribute to service planning and achieving performance targets. Requirements: * Experience working directly with children, young people, and families. * Strong understanding of early help and multi-agency working. * Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills. * Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
