Location: London (Hybrid – Travel to sites required)
Salary: Circa £65,000–£80,000 + package (DOE)

An established, international engineering business with is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join its growing UK team. Operating across 17 countries, the company specialises in innovative underground waste collection systems, delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions for major residential and mixed-use developments.
With a strong pipeline of projects (Pardon the Pun) across London this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of complex projects while contributing to the growth of a rapidly expanding business.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple underground waste pipe projects that transport the waste into a central disposal point along with waste disposal units located through out a development. You will be overseeing the process from design through to installation and handover. This role requires a high level of autonomy, commercial awareness, and the confidence to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met
* Lead the design process, coordinating architects, consultants, and internal teams
* Oversee on-site activities, managing subcontractors and ensuring visibility across projects
* Act as the main client interface, confidently managing expectations and pushing back where required
* Work closely with Quantity Surveyors on cost control and commercial performance
* Take ownership of project margins and financial outcomes
* Manage procurement activities and liaise with internal teams on systems and processes (ERP-based)
* Report into UK leadership, with light-touch international reporting
About You
You are a driven and commercially aware Project Manager with strong technical grounding and the ability to operate independently.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction, infrastructure, or engineering
* Strong technical understanding (e.g. mechanical, civil, utilities, or similar systems involving underground installations)
* Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and client relationships
* Comfortable working in structured, process-driven environments
* Ability to challenge clients and protect project scope and commercial position
* Highly organised with a meticulous approach to delivery
* Based in or around London, with flexibility to travel to sites
