Social Work Team Manager – Transitions Team
Sanctuary Personnel has a new permanent position available for a Team Manager within the Transitions Team to work Full Time in Haringey.
The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is up to £59,328 per annum.
* Manage and supervise a team of Social Workers, Social Work Students, and administrative staff, including recruitment, induction, development, and management of employee productivity and conduct.
* Manage the workload of the team, ensuring robust care management, good practice in assessments, and timely case reviews, in line with statutory requirements and department policy.
* Manage a commissioning budget by monitoring the cost of packages of care.
* Support the Council in analyzing the team budget and identifying areas for financial efficiency.
* Ensure innovative, cost-effective packages of care are provided, embedding the Strengths-based approach, and provide regular feedback to staff.
* Contribute to service planning and development, working with health professionals to ensure seamless services for transitioning young people.
* Ensure high-priority, high-quality care act assessments and young person/parent carer involvement.
* Maintain accurate case file recording and young people's information on ICS and adults social care systems.
* Identify staff training needs, ensuring high standards of professional practice through development and performance management.
* Investigate complaints according to department procedures.
* Undertake other duties as required by the line manager.
Requirements of this Team Manager role:
* A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Registered or eligible for registration.
* Good working knowledge of relevant legislation.
