The Team
The CRM team is part of the Digital team. We are responsible for the development and maintenance of multiple CRM technologies and implementations that support different University’s business areas including the Student and Business Engagement journeys.
The Role
The Salesforce Administrator is a key member of the CRM team, responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the Salesforce platform while driving continuous improvement. The role supports both strategic projects and daily operations, ensuring the system meets evolving business needs through effective configuration and optimisation.
Core responsibilities include managing platform health, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing release management. The postholder will implement new features aligned with the Salesforce roadmap, provide user support and training, and help build internal capability. This position combines technical expertise with a focus on user experience, ensuring Salesforce remains a reliable and efficient tool for the organisation.
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
Essential Knowledge / Experience
* Salesforce Administrator Certification
* Strong Salesforce product knowledge and hands on admin experience
* Experience of delivering CRM functionality to meet business requirements
* Strong Stakeholder Management
Desirable Experience
* Additional Salesforce Certifications
* Use of Salesforce Education Cloud
* Able to manage the deployment process (through Copado)
* Experience of using Jira
* Agile ways of working
* Other experience that may be taken into account:
o Knowledge of other CRM systems
o Business analysis / business process / requirements gathering
o End user training experience
o Working in an ITIL environment
