As part of our investment in people and our continued ambitions for growth, dormakaba UK now has a fantastic new sales opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our Mechanical Key Systems Sales team.


A JOB THAT MATTERS: YOUR TASKS

Our MKS sales team promotes our mechanical key and locking products to the security and construction industries via establishing and maintaining partnership agreements with suppliers and distributors. The primary role will be to maintain and develop a network of partners who deal with installation and distribution businesses such as locksmiths, architectural hardware stockists, etc., who can specify and install our products in their projects.

The second part of the role is to help this network of distributors identify opportunities to supply and install these products to industry, ensuring the growth of our Mechanical Key Systems business.

The key to success in this role is managing these partnerships, collaborating with partners via regular contact, and being able to identify and secure business opportunities for them.

EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS

* Previous experience in a business development role within the construction or security product industries, with a focus on retaining clients to build long-term, profitable partnerships with distributors, contractors, or system integrators.
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Proven ability to work independently and remotely without close supervision
* Based in the Northeast of the UK, ideally Tyneside, County Durham, Teesside, or surrounding areas.
