Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations within the hotel, including dining, banqueting, and room service.
* Develop and implement innovative menus that cater to various events, particularly weddings, ensuring a memorable experience for guests.
* Manage the food and beverage budget, optimising costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Recruit, train, and lead a motivated team of staff, promoting a positive workplace culture and collaboration.
* Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and consistency in food and beverage offerings.
* Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction, making improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
* Implement health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance in all areas of the food and beverage department.
* Collaborate with hotel management to plan and execute special events and promotions that enhance guest experiences.
Successful Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager within the hotel industry, with a strong understanding of wedding and event operations.
* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and collaboration with both staff and guests.
* Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
* Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and health and safety procedures.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
