Job Requirements Develop new business and manage existing customers for the region, which incl. range selling, and cross-selling into various industries · Execute sales activities: prepare, coordinate, negotiate and close proposals. · Identify high potential accounts and set strategies for converting prospects. · Identify, prioritise and contact prospects. Manage customer related initiatives / projects. · Maintain CRM, complete relevant reporting, etc. · Responsible for the delivery of monthly / quarterly / annual budgeted targets using effective sales techniques and the company’s sales procedures. · Manage accounts against set targets, including mandatory sales activities quotas each month. · Awareness of market conditions and trends including competitor activity and market relating to individual products · Open and develop new trading accounts. · Maintain appropriate level of product knowledge, including attendance at product training. · Continually seek new market and product sales opportunities · Liaise with appropriate BDMs to maximise sales opportunities. · Monitor, evaluate and report on competitor’s activities in order to identify sales opportunities. · Contribute to industry and company product development to maximise sales opportunities. · Liaise and work closely with other members of the sales team to ensure the customer’s requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively. Reporting · Completion of Visit Reports on a daily basis, allowing relevant members of the sales support team to follow up any actions · Completion of Monthly Reports within the defined period, including analysis of the sales area and details supporting numbers General · Proactively assist in managing Working Capital targets for the depot, including the reduction of bad debtors · Contribute to the budgeting process by forecasting sales and profit within the sales area. · Ensure that the depot operates within the stated company quality assurance procedures and legal requirements, at all times. · Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Regional Sales Manager and/or General Manager as deemed necessary from time to time. Your Skills & experience Experience in dealing with new & existing customers including cold calling Able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Experience in using & navigating CRM systems and other tools.
