They support a wide range of UK SMC customers, helping them modernise, optimise and scale through Azure Infrastructure, Data and AI, Digital and App Innovation and Security. The business is growing quickly and this role is central to driving that momentum.
This is a player first, future coach role. Initially, you will operate as a senior individual contributor focused on winning Azure opportunities across SMC customers. As the SMC motion scales, there is a clear path to building and leading a solutions sales team aligned to this customer segment.
Microsoft co sell is a core part of the role, with strong emphasis on funding, joint pipeline and partner led growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Owning and closing Azure solution opportunities within SMC customers
• Leading discovery sessions and value led Azure conversations
• Working closely with Microsoft SMC teams on co sell opportunities
• Positioning Azure solutions across infra, apps, data, AI and security
• Building pipeline through new logo and existing customer opportunities
• Acting as the Azure specialist during proposals and customer presentations
• Staying current on Azure services, trends and SMC buying patterns
• Preparing to recruit, mentor and lead a future SMC Azure solutions sales team
Ideal Experience
• Background in Azure solution sales or specialist roles within the SMC market
• Broad Azure knowledge across infra, data, AI, apps and security
• Experience working with Microsoft SMC teams and co sell motions
• Comfortable operating as a senior IC with leadership aspirations
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to move fast in SMC environments
• Confident engaging both technical and business stakeholders
• Azure certifications such as AZ 900, AZ 104, AI 900 or DP 900 preferred
