Join us in Hull as a Lead – Evidence Analysis (Ortho) and help drive commercial success through the power of clinical and scientific evidence. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients around the world. The purpose of this role is to lead high value projects and project teams that require objective systematic evaluation of scientific and clinical evidence relating to SN products and core market indications. What will you be doing? You’ll be at the forefront of transforming clinical data into strategic insights for the orthopedics business unit. You’ll guide large-scale projects and cross-functional teams, interpreting complex scientific and clinical evidence to support our product claims and marketing strategies. Your expertise will influence decisions across the business, from promotional asset reviews to regulatory compliance, ensuring our products meet the highest standards. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, mentor junior colleagues, and play a pivotal role in aligning evidence analysis with commercial goals. - 20% Drive value generation through aligning EA business unit priorities with commercial strategy - 20% Take the lead with both projects and project teams (often large in scale) in using clinical and scientific data to support the commercial success of SN business units - 20% Perform evidence reviews and analyses of scientific, clinical and technical data to support ongoing team projects - 5% Support the wider team in project scoping and review/sign-off of final reports - 10% Critically review promotional materials and assets generated to support SN products and core indications - 15% Lead the claims management process for a given product or product portfolio, particularly in respect to clinical claims - 5% support, when required, with audits - 5% Build strong working relationships and synergistic collaborations with the wider global clinical and medical affairs (GCMA) team, Marketing and other business functions What will you need to be successful? Success in this role means being a trusted expert who can navigate complexity with confidence and clarity. You’ll bring a scientific mindset and a commercial lens to every challenge, helping us make informed, evidence-based decisions. A degree in biomedical sciences or a clinical discipline is essential, with a PhD considered a strong advantage At least five years of relevant experience, including time spent on a PhD; experience in a medical device company preferred. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver impactful project outcomes Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Experience in interpreting evidence and using findings to inform business insights/claims/promotional asset review approval would be advantageous.
