About This Role

Ria's mission is to be the most progressive money transfer company in the world by offering service excellence and the most competitive and reliable remittance payment services to our customers. As RIA Account Manager (AM) your main role is to expand the network of agents in a designated territory in Edinburgh/Glasgow. You will present the RIA Money Transfer Services Limited as a business opportunity, sign them up as agents, and maintain an understanding and appreciation of their requirements.

Basic salary £28K to £32K + Commission.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop, retain, and manage a portfolio of agents providing RIA money transfer services.
* Present RIA to potential agents and manage the entire sales process: identify prospects, cold‑call, face‑to‑face meetings, conduct presentations and user demonstrations.
* Spend approximately 90% of time on the field recruiting new agents and developing existing ones in your territory.
* Manage the sign‑up, set‑up and training process of agents; provide solutions where challenging matters arise.
* Build strong relationships with agents to ensure long‑term loyalty to the company.
* Use solid financial and business acumen to demonstrate the value of the service proposition to prospective agents.
* Provide agents on a day‑to‑day basis with standard POS material, system and compliance training to reach their maximum potential.
* Grow transaction volume by being a visible presence in the marketplace, including implementing local marketing plans when necessary.
* Respond to requested information from the company and agents in a timely manner.
* Demonstrate an understanding of RIA operations and systems.
* Act as a representative of RIA at events, acting professionally to gain new business leads and contacts.
* Keep abreast of issues affecting money transfer companies and the industry, collecting competitor intelligence.
* Produce and administer a regular competition database relevant to this market.
* Report to the Regional Manager and Sales Manager on a regular basis to ensure accurate and timely briefing.
* Complete your weekly report plan in full and email it to your manager for review every week.
* Attend sales meetings on a timely and regular basis.


Qualifications

* Fluent in English and speak at least one additional language.
* At least two years of experience in a field sales role (preferred).
* Experience with other money transfer companies is a bonus.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Experience working within a target‑driven team environment.
* Experience building relationships with clients.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Business development experience.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to translate regulatory requirements into understandable everyday language for customers.
* Well‑organised and thorough, even under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Availability to travel within the designated territory as needed, and flexibility for longer trips as required by the business.

Benefits

Ria Money Transfer offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated pay ranges from £28,000 to £32,000. Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
