The Role of Group Finance Supervisor We are seeking an organised and proactive Group Finance Supervisor to join our hotel group’s finance team. This newly created role will act as a key link between the Group Finance Director and a team of three Finance Assistants. As Group Finance Supervisor you will oversee daily processing, support payment runs, assist with management accounts preparation, and ensure the finance team consistently delivers accurate and timely work. Job Overview: As the Group Finance Supervisor, you will act as a key link between the Group Finance Director, and a team of three Finance Assistants. Experience & Qualifications • AAT Level 4 / ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualification. • Experience in a supervisory or senior transactional finance role (e.g., Senior Finance Assistant, AP/AR Supervisor, Finance Officer). • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, AP/AR processes, reconciliations, and month-end procedures. • Experience with payment runs and exposure to management accounts is highly desirable. • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to keep the team on track. • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Confident communicator skilled at supporting and developing junior team members. • Proficient with finance systems and Microsoft Excel. • Experience of using XERO and Procure Wizard or similar would be desirable.
