This long-term, ongoing role offers the chance to shape a developing provision supporting children with autism, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviours. The position comes with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher Deliver and manage the day-to-day organisation of a developing school base for up to five pupils with ASC and complex needs. Oversee and coordinate the work of HLTAs, TAs, and other support staff. As a SEN Teacher you will teach and assess pupils, ensuring they access a broad and balanced curriculum. Design, implement, and monitor bespoke educational and behavioural support plans. Maintain detailed records and reports on pupil progress and base effectiveness. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic support for pupils. Manage transitions, including admissions and exits, in partnership with other professionals. Provide training and guidance to staff on ASD strategies and inclusive teaching.
