Job Title: Stockbroking Customer Service Advisor
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Mon – Fri between 8am – 9pm
The position is a Customer Service Advisor role with Lloyds Banking Group, involving a mix of working from home and in the office. Initially, you'll work in the office for training, then a hybrid approach will be adopted—two days in the office, three days remote.
About this opportunity
Join Halifax Share Dealing Limited (HSDL) to provide excellent customer service over the phone, assisting with UK and International dealing orders, in line with FCA regulations, internal procedures, and group policies. Responsibilities include account registration, website navigation, and complaint resolution. Training will be provided to support your development in a fast-paced environment.
* Handle inbound customer calls regarding accounts and products, providing simple and effective assistance.
* Complete telephony, digital, and administrative tasks to service customer queries.
* Take ownership of customer issues, resolving them at first contact and escalating as needed.
* Engage in self-development through regular performance reviews.
* Deliver first-class service, ensuring accurate and friendly communication across a range of products including ISAs, Pensions, and Investment Accounts.
* Record transactions accurately and maintain compliance with internal processes.
* Build relationships across the business to clarify facts and resolve issues.
* Manage customer complaints effectively, aiming for resolution and proper documentation.
* Develop knowledge of stock exchanges, international markets, and trading equities, maintaining ongoing professional development.
* Support other business areas as needed.
* Promote and embody Lloyds and HSDL values in all activities.
What you’ll need
* Strong communication skills, verbal and non-verbal.
* High attention to detail.
* IT literacy, comfortable with various systems and keyboard use.
* Experience in a stockbroker environment is desirable but not essential.
* An interest in financial services.
