Job summary Our client, a prestigious company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Planner to join their team in Surrey.
Responsibilities
* Customer engagement - Handle calls and coordinate appointments
* Drag-and-drop planning - Assign water meter exchange jobs to mobile devices
* Booking and managing appointments - For internal meter changes
* Work planning and optimisation - Group jobs by road/area and coordinate efficiently
* Tracking updates - Monitor completed exchanges and update records
* Permit management - Learn and manage permitting processes for local councils
* Letter handling - Follow up with customers who receive letters regarding meter exchanges
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Confident speaking with customers on the phone
* Experience in planning, coordination, or scheduling work activities
* Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
* Quick to learn internal systems and digital workflows
* Understands the value of clear communication with both customers and field team
