Vision for Education is looking for a committed and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a vibrant primary school in Thurrock. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
1. Support pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
2. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver inspiring and accessible lessons
3. Assist learners with SEND, adapting support to meet individual needs
4. Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment
5. Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and love of learning

6. Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
7. A warm, patient and supportive approach
8. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
9. A genuine interest in education and child development
