Were looking for a talented and ambitious gastro pub / rosette-level chef to lead and develop the food offering at The Queens Royal, New Brighton.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major venue relaunch, with full creative input on menus and the chance to build something standout on the Wirral.
Youll be responsible for delivering high-quality, fresh food with a focus on seasonal produce, modern British dishes, and strong presentation with the aim of pushing towards rosette-level standards.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and delivering a high-quality gastro-style menu
Creating seasonal dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
Leading and managing the kitchen team
Maintaining consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
Managing stock, GP, ordering, and supplier relationships
Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety
Contributing to private events, functions, and special menus

Experience in a gastro pub, fresh food kitchen, or rosette-level environment
Strong passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
Leadership skills and ability to build a team
Someone who wants to grow with the business and help shape the food offering
A chef, not just a cook everything made fresh, done properly
