An excellent opportunity for an experienced paraplanner to join a small reputable IFA practice in Preston.
Key Skills
* You will have worked within the Financial Services industry and as a paraplanner for the last 2 years and have knowledge of pensions, investments, ISAs and protection policies.
* Good communication skills, be organised, take responsibility for your own work and able to meet deadlines.
* Team player and willing to help other team members when required.
* Experience writing suitability reports.
* Part-qualified to diploma level or keen to progress further.
* Experience using Intelligent Office and Selectapension is advantageous.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
* Produce professional suitability reports
* Tailor suitability letters to individual clients
* Prepare files for meetings and handle existing business administration
* Provide specific product, provider and fund research
* Assist administrators during busy periods and work in a team environment
* Other administrative duties: Submit new business applications; deal with providers; deal with clients
Hours: Mon–Fri, 37.5 hours to be arranged
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 per year (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
