Risk & Assurance Manager Nottinghamshire (Hybrid) Permanent to £41,525 (DOE) Risk & Assurance Manager needed with in-depth experience in risk management, assurance and governance within complex project environments. Key experience tasks to include: Key Objective: supporting Risk Management and Assurance best practice, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across complex programmes. Proven experience in Risk Management, assurance and governance in complex project environments, including risk assurance reviews, audits, reporting, and best practice. Key Tasks: identifying, assessing and mitigating project/programme risks, and providing assurance to ensure compliance with governance frameworks and best practice standards. Identifying, assessing, documenting reporting risks, conducting risk workshops, implementing risk mitigation strategies, risk audits implementing risk controls. Tracking and monitoring risks using RAID producing risk management reports for the Governance Board to help reduce project uncertainties. Risk Assurance & Governance: risk assurance reviews to ensure adherence to best practice governance frameworks, project assurance meetings, stage gate reviews improving risk assurance standards, tools and methods. Change Management: supporting change management processes, implementing scope change protocols, ensuring robust Configuration Management standardizing project documentation. Stakeholder Engagement: engaging with Programme Board on risk management issues, and providing guidance on risk management tools, best practice, assurance governance. Risk Management qualification preferred -eg- MoR, APM, MSP, Prince2. Government / Public Sector sector experience preferred but not essential.
