Role Overview
As a Full-Time Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals living in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene with dignity and respect
* Assisting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks
* Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
* Prompting or administering medication according to care plans
* Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
* Travelling within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
* Working full-time hours, including some weekdays and weekends as part of a rota

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to your own vehicle
* Availability for full-time hours, including participation in a rota
* A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn

What We Offer

* Competitive pay rates (adjustable if needed for full-time roles—just tell me if you want them changed):
o Unqualified Carers: £12.65–£19.80 per hour
o Qualified Carers (Level 2+): £13.10–£21.30 per hour
* 35p per mile fuel allowance
* Full in-house training and induction in Swadlincote
* Shadowing shifts before independent work
* A friendly, supportive team environment
* Consistent hours and a structured rota
