Overall job purpose
The DDaT – Associate End User Computing Engineer works within the IT Service Management discipline in the DDaT Operations job family. The post involves the functions associated with the Council's IT Service Management offering. They will ensure business units and teams have access to effective IT service management, problem resolution and troubleshooting. They will assist with research into emerging service management techniques and technologies and ensure the Council innovates to provide an ever improving service.
Reporting to the DDaT IT Service Manager, this post will play a key role in achieving the strategic goals of the DDaT team. They will undertake work on projects and business as usual works.
They will assist with the development of their team to meet the changing technology needs of the organisation through knowledge sharing, producing documents and guidelines and identifying areas to improve.
